Re: Problem with navaids points in the flight plan

Patience. Antonello does have a life outside 124th & X-Plane.

Re: World Traffic 3 Integration

Thanks for your feedback RandomUser. I didn't know about this important lack of dataref exposure. I'll have a look back to the developer email I get some months ago Well, you CAN use some data... World Traffic is able to "take over" default XP11 AI aircraft to make them show up on the map or TCAS (...

Re: World Traffic 3 Integration

WT3 integration requires knowing the position and speed of its aircraft, but so far, such data has not been exposed by WT's developer for use by other plugins

Re: No audio output (TTS) on Linux

Congratulations.
If you happen to get a different TTS engine to work with speech-dispatcher, feel free to inform me. While espeak-ng works, it doesn't provide the best output.

Re: 124thatc and Zibo 737

I use Onlineflightplanner (as I don't like SimBrief) and copy&paste the route fixes from the generated PDF into 124th's flight plan field.
As route fixes listed across multiple lines in that PDF screws up the flight plan field when pasted into it, I've reverted to typing in each fix by hand.

Re: No audio output (TTS) on Linux

I use espeak-ng because it works out of the box with speech-dispatcher for me.

All other TTS engines seem to require some degree of configuration to work.

Re: No audio output (TTS) on Linux

Do you have a TTS engine installed and is it working?

Re: RCs public previews

This was in VFR mode, but my flight altitude (5000 ft, FL050) was treated as "FL 5000" by ATC. Regardless of that, I was told I was 25000something feet below clearance altitude. No log or bug report, but this is most likely the same altitude bug as reported by vittop. Also, long-term, it would be gr...

Re: RCs public previews

Just tested RC24 from LEPA to EDDV in 11.32b1 and the 737-800X v3.33h. No XP crash and center handoff finally worked again! But I can confirm the altitude related bugs: - No intermediate altitudes while receiving clearance. It was straight to cruise flight level. - Descent instreuctions came very ea...

Re: RCs public previews

Some of the crashes can be attributed to X-Plane, which seems to be quite unstable as of 11.32.

Hi RandomUser,
I'll think about that, feel free to propose it in the correct section.

Good point, never have thought about.
Only found out about this by sheer necessity during one flight.

Re: RCs public previews

I normally ignore it too (but then you normally need to ignore altitude as well and stick to the STAR altitudes, otherwise you end up to high at IAF, like in the example above I was still at FL150). This time I have "obeyed" to show how weird the vectoes given are. The good thing about 124th is tha...

Re: RCs public previews

When flying STARs, I usually ignore vectoring calls. Ideally, 124th wouldn't vector you at all if the current approach mode is STAR (and only provide speed and alitude clearance), but you'd be able to revert to a vectored approach at any time (to make a short visual final or so). Speaking of: Can th...

That's correct. Which is the fp is causing most of the crashs, is it the following? Re: RCs public previews

Roughly three minutes Any chance this could cause a crash when, coincidentially, being near a 1°x 1° dsf tile boundary? If I understand you correctly, every three minutes, 124th will invoke "XPLMFindNavAid" using the current aircraft latitude and longitude as input parameters and "XPLMNavType = 1" ...
