Where does 124thATC get frequencies from?

Post by 86abaile » Tue Aug 27, 2019 10:48 am

What I want to know is where the plugin reads the frequency data from and find out if it's an issue with the plugin, navigraph or the scenery packages.

I ask because I was having some trouble yesterday with frequencies being wildly wrong from the (navigraph) charts even with a symlink. I then changed to the latest release candidate, updated the orbx libraries and updated the AIRAC cycle again (although it had already been updated before).
Long story short, the frequencies matched much more closely afterwards, but of course because I didn't test them individually, I have no idea what fixed it. Anyway, the problem still kinda persists, but with frequencies being out by 0.005 (e.g. the chart shows 121.905 and the plugin is asking me to contact 121.900). I was using ORBX EGNX and a package for EDDL from the gateway.

Don't have 124th available ATM, but IIRC it gets its frequencies from the airport's apt.dat file. Center frequencies are stored in 124th's ACC.dat file.
