MacOS 10.15 Catalina stops 124thATC working
Hello,
since the update to MacOS 10.15 it is unpossible to use this plugin. After opening the frequencylist no more activity is possible and nothing more happens.
The problem may be the mac.xpl. Some others I could get free for using the 124thATC not. This mac.xpl is not alone in inactivity.
What is to do?
Waiting that Apple presents some updates?
With regards
Olaf

First of all you should mention which 124thATC version you're using. In addition, a log.txt is required in order to provide support, as stated everywhere in the forum. Also a more detailed description of the issue is generally really helpful to who will try to help you

This is because of new security measures in MacOS 10.15 and affects all X-Plane plugins.
See these threads:

Hello,
the new MacOS has a secure-system that stops all plugins in x-plane where the authors are unknown (for Apple).
Here some help from Laminar:
Here are detailed steps to investigate and fix this issue:
1.Open Terminal app
2.type xattr then a space, then drag the .xpl file from Resources/Plugins/(plugin folder) to the window
3.press return
4.If the plugin is NOT quarantined, you will see no output in the Terminal window
5.Otherwise, type xattr -d com.apple.quarantine then a space, then drag that same .xpl file into the window
6.press return
This should turn off the quarantine flag so you can run the plugin again. Note that this will have to be done for each plugin individually.
I do that for all plugins I found. Stupid and long work, but momentary the only way.

Olaf

Many thanks Olaf! I'll test it and I'll document it in the official FAQsBerlinFlyer56 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 3:25 pmHello,
