Hi Antonello
Just thought I'd share my experience with the last two flights which went perfectly well.NB I am using the stable release. 60. and xp11.50b6.
Thank you so much for providing the only real plausible atc option for xplane 11.
I was able to reset the plugin this time around without issues.
Using the zibo 737 however after setting up the fmc, the import from fms button insisted on loading an earlier flight plan. I've noticed this on two occasions now. This is a minor issue that does not detract in any way from the marvelous way the plugin handled my whole flight!
Also can I please request that you work on vr compatibility?
Thank you again and hope you stay safe at this uncertain time
Jay

Probably there is an important reason, because before this site was always very active and helpful.
I hope it will come back.

Does anyone know what has happened to Antonello because since soon 2 months there was no news.
It is regrettable because with this plugin it had a very good job.

Hello all, thanks for the great plugin.

I am not sure what I am missing here, I don't know how to install the required NAVDATA. I am running Xplane-11.5 latest beta and plugin RC74. There are no files in Xplane's "Custom data" folder?

Code: Select all

3.8 Navdata installation -- NEW --

Starting from version 2.0-a60, 124thATC will looks for navdata inside its own directory. At the moment, the program
does not ship any version of ARINC. SID/STAR function will require a manually installation of ARINC 424 CIFP
folder in the following path:
\x-planefolder\Resources\plugins\124thATC64\navdata\

X-Plane 11 user can simply copy it from x-planefolder\Custom Data\*.
Where do I find the required files??

Thanks

On my Linux installation the required files and folders are inside this default folder:

/X-Plane 11/Resources/default data

therefore, I simply copied its contents (airspaces folder, CIFP folder, *.dat files) into

/X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/124thATC64/navdata

Hi, I'm a new user trying to get this to work on XP11 on Linux. I have speech working but having trouble with STARS, and I just wanted to say here that I was also confused by the same issue as fullmetaljacket, because the docs refer to data in the /Custom Data folder, but I don't have anything in there. The docs don't say if the contents of the default data folder can also be used. I know it is probably a very basic question, but there is a CIFP folder in there with .dat files, is this the ARINC 424, or do I need to download something from the FAA website? I thought that only applied for the US, or is it also needed for Europe?

Hope this help. My XP11 on Linux works and 124thATCv2 as well:

Yes, thanks, that did help. I just wanted to point out that the docs are not completely clear unless one understands the distinction between CFIP and ARINC and that the default data may be used instead of custom data.

The plugin seems to work Ok in large part.
However on requesting a different runway (rwy 09 instead of assigned RWY 27) EGPF-EGPN flight xplane crashed.
I'va attached the log

Hi,

I hope you are OK now in these crazy challenging times....

Just wondering which Alpha version is current - I have .73 installed but occasionally I get a message to say .74 is available but it wont install over the automatic update option. If there is a .74 and if so please add it to the Dropbox?

Hope to see you here again soon....

Thanks and best wishes!

Chris
