a60RC58 uploaded, fixing the Shane's bug. Thanks Shane for reporting it, good spot.

I'm having some issues with my service provider, for some reasons the updates url are getting access denied on CURL request (not from browsers  ), so you'll probably will not be able to perform auto-updates from the plugin, please update manually for now, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Cheers,
a.
Hi Antonello, FYI I updated my XP11.36 Demo/Linux Mint manually from zip file before built-in update mechanism resumed working, and had same issue as mentioned in my previous tests and I fixed issue as already done, i.e. changing departure airport after update. Then I used instead built-in update mechanism for my XP11.36 Full/Ubuntu: no problem.
[Using XP11.36|Ubuntu 16.04\Mint 18.3|Kernel 4.15.0-60|amdgpu opensource driver]

Trying out RC57 today with x plane 11.40. Had issues with 124th telling me to descend to 3600 feet continuously while displaying the restrictions for each waypoint as I had them on my flight documents......attached is screenshot from in sim and the bug report. My restrictions had min and max altitudes. Airac is 1911

Thanks,
Hi stewy81,
I'm unable to replicate your issue, I'll try anyway later in the weekend. Please tell me if you'll face the issue with the next build.

Thanks,
Antonello

I'm using 124thATC v2.0-a60RC60, had a problem approach today.

Flying between DAAG & DAUK (in Algeria) everything was ok up until approach, I was offered 01 to land on, I declined and went for 19 (as the preferential runway), routing for 19 came up on the ND, I was then surprised to be given clearance for 01 not 19 when I approached the airport (wind was 321 @ 7 at that moment), I followed the routing on the ND and made my way to the airport and landed with no further problems

HI ShaneD,
checking your log:

Code: Select all

No airport flows found, wind less than 10 knots (7 knots). Get runway by location...
So basically because the wind was just 7 knots, the plugin ignored it, and picked up the runway by location. The plugin in facts ignores the wind under 10 knots.

Having a reading about it on IVAO, I found the correct approach would be ignore it under the 5 knots, instead 10:

If the wind speed is lower than 5 knots, the wind can be considered not important as a selection criteria.

I'll make some further readings and I'll decide if reduce the threshold to 5 knots.
I'm open to any suggestion regarding the best approach, as I'm not really a real pilot.

That was one reason why I gave this suggestion:

If I am offered the SIDs when submitting the flight plan, it would be useful, to be able to change the offered RW at this point. Not only after selection of the SID and confirmation. Just like with the offer of the STARs.
But I cannot estimate how much effort this would cost.
But I've already put that in the brainstorming section.

Hi ruetzi,
This changes is surprising complicate because the nature of the call back dialogs, I'll try anyway to implement it in the next versions.
Right now I need to freeze this version and release. ;)

Flight from LIME to LOWI. Landing on rw 08 planned. Until RTT and at the following flight against the landing direction everything is clear. Only at the turn to the left on rw 08 the altitude of 9400 feet was not sufficient and the crash took place on the mountain slope.

But that should not be a reason not to release the new version.

Greeting an good luck

I found the elevation function quite reliable, I'll test it again though.

I tried the flight. I need to admit this is one of the worst scenario you can ask an virtual ATC to operate.
The only way to get in LOWI from rw 08, is to pass through that narrow corridor in the mountains, is extremely though to be elaborated by an algorithm. But I have in mind some workarounds for next release, that can ideally mitigate that issue. What you can try for now, is to disable approximation fixes creation and see if can helps in someway, but I don't expect big improvements anyway.
