Thanks vittop, I'll have a look
Just purchased XP11, installed on a new HD with Ubuntu 16.04.5 kernel 4.15.0.43 , upgraded XP to last 11.30 rel and tested RC23 KCLM->KOLM IFR no manaul S/S selection. All fine and smooth right to landing, this time. Will repeat with it KSEA-KBFI asap to check if problem was on my demo installation (was on Mint 18.3 kernel 4.15.0.20) or whatever else, and come back here if the above error appears.
Thanks vittop for your feedbacks. Actually I identified a couple of bugs on approach phase that can be the cause of your crashes. I'll release next build in the next days.

Antonello
Still trouble with this KSEA-KBFI route, this time at TO I had my 172's GPS map indicating only the last leg and not a full plan. Anyhow, just passed the mid-way waypoint, Approach op ignored me about the route I was supposed to follow, only warning me about FL changes if any instead telling me to turn back and begin the approach. As usual, find here the logfile:

Just got a hard application crash in 11.30r3 with a23. The log doesn't specify the plugin that crashed, but since the last logged action was reading the acc.dat, I'm posting this here as it could be related to the latest alpha.

My crash position was at N 51° 36' 53.24", E 9° 20' 20.83", around 10 nm away from WRB on a 52° radial (in case it could be a center handoff bug).

Hi Antonello,
I wanted to fly LEIB (Ibiza) -LFML (Marseille)
MHN4E MHN UN853 LUMAS UM976 SOSUR SOSU8C
I have a big problem with the departure procedure SID MHN4E (see image) Image
whereas the normal procedure should have been SID RWY 24 (see image)Image
I attach the log file.

More feedback for RC23 .....

Getting error for initial altitude still. Giving me 150 feet when I'm asking for Cruise of FL150. Kept requesting me to descend 150 feet. So I asked for a FL change to FL150 and was granted, then told 9000 feet, then told maintain 15000 feet again in back to back to back ATC messages. (screen shots of dialogue will be attached.

While flying at cruise of FL15000 X plane 11.30 crashed and sent a report to Laminar, last of log was attempt to read ACC file.

Logs will be attached as well.

lastly I noticed in logs saying no custom voices available however I have set it up and do have them showing in my registry so those will be attached to for you to look over.

Thanks again for all the hard work, I hope this tests helps you make it even better.

I'm sure you can see it in the logs, but here are the screen shots of the on screen dialogue for altitude requests issues. Could not add to previous post so here they are.

Thanks

Good to know I'm not the only one to experience this.

Hi, I have done a new test flight with my newly licensed XP11.30. As you will see from debug file, it was a IFR in Tuscany LIQB->LIRQ. Just passed last wypt MAREL, I declared an emergency for a landing at the nearest apt LIQS, and had a crash.

Hi guys, need to correct myself. The crash I was facing was due to an hardware problem, not to the plugin. So basically I haven't been able to replicate them. I don't get the crash, and I don't get the continue altitude correction. Just some maintain 0 feet error, working on that. I already changed part of the code on the current version, so maybe the bugs you're facing have been already fixed.
I'll compile next build within some hours.

Vittop, thanks for report, I'll have a look to the emergency landing.

The hard crashes are rare, but even in the past, the last action that was tried was trying to read the acc.dat, probably for center handoffs.

How does the center lookup in 124th ATC work exactly? Does it continuously read the user aircraft's position and loop through the acc.dat? How does it handle airports that are on adjacent 1°x1° scenery tiles?

I'm writing the SID and STAR FL restriction support, along to a new altitude check function, it will requires a further effort, but that's is hopefully the last challenge before the release. New build coming in the next hours, hopefully today. Still working on the crashes issue.

Last line of the log are the custom command invocation for the flight information. Did you noticed any correlation between the crashes and the custom command?

Here is another crash report linked to accessing the ACC file. I was trying out a VFR flight and had just gotten clearance for 22500 when x plane crashed. I"m running 11.30 final right now.

Downgraded to RC22 and redid my last flight (EDDV - LEPA; viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17&start=180#p3919)

Good: No X-Plane crash.
Bad: No SID selection, no STAR selection, no center handoffs.

Again: How does the handoff and center lookup work? What X-Plane datarefs or XPLM functions are accessed? What does 124th do internally to trigger a center handoff or a SID/STAR selection?
