This was in VFR mode, but my flight altitude (5000 ft, FL050) was treated as "FL 5000" by ATC. Regardless of that, I was told I was 25000something feet below clearance altitude.

No log or bug report, but this is most likely the same altitude bug as reported by vittop.

Also, long-term, it would be great if VFR and IFR clearances could be handled in two entirely different dialog windows.

Using RC25 for 2 flights noticed on the first that no decent was offered by ATC thought odd. But again on the second flight again no decent. I've provided the log file of the second flight.

Did a short flight with RC25. Regarding the altitude instrunctions there is the same beavior as at RC24 ( "Initial altitude flight level 180" / "descend 0 feet" ).

Hi Antonello. I just briefly tested RC26, C172 IFR within Seattle Area. First attempt to request KNOW TWR an IFR clearance KNOW->KNOW failed, I had no clearance even resetting plugin and trying to request it again and again. Thinking it had something to do with that airport (a NAS)

I then moved to nearby KCLM, asking KCLM Delivery an IFR clearance KCLM->KCLM , which was accepted. I took off, all ok until I switched to KCLM Approach. After a couple of messages, APP ordered me

124thATC v2.0-a60RC26 00:09:29: Communication: N172SP, descend 0 feet, altimeter 30.01,124th transition level 20

at line 6790 of Log.txt. I decided to descend sloooooowly and however not below 1500ft. ,but at line 20369 APP warned me:

124thATC v2.0-a60RC26 00:12:29: Communication: N172SP, you are 1500 feet above your clearance altitude, descend and maintain 0 feet

at that point I quitted the flight. Hope this test could help. Logfile is attached. Thanx.

Tested RC26 KMKE to KMEM via UECKR5 DELHI DCT PXV BLUZZ2 While on ground no ATIS would play when tuned. Got to holding point of runway and got clearance to takeoff, then was told to climb to 36000 while still sitting on holding point. From then on the debug showed I should be on Tower but I went to center anyway and eventually got commands from it to stay at 36000 and eventually harassed to get down to FL230 while I was already descending 2000 f/m . No issues with SID or runway selection, STAR selection was fine too. I didn't get to see how it reacted to vectoring me because xplane crashed as I was approaching the STAR. looks like 124th ACC lookup was the last thing to execute in the log.

Bug report attached.

It does not work when you come from an airport that does not have a SID (LXGB Gibraltar)

A
"John ask if it is possible to add the word "to" when plugin ask to descend to flight level.
Thanks
Sorry guys, not native English speaker here, I didn't get you.
Definitely a good spot John, easy to fix, probably in the .60 final."

For info, the word "to" when plugin ask to descend to flight level seems to be missing in the latest beta (it appeared in an earlier beta).

Been awhile RC26 has been well behaved until today. Today the lat lon 0,0 waypoint injection happened again.

Flight Plan was CYOW IKLAX REEDO VIBRU ART FLOOR WEEPY STODA KSYR

The 5 waypoints added was after STODA and landing. When I skipped to waypoint runway ATC kept telling me to climb instead of passing me onto Tower.

RC27 tested KCLM->KGRF IFR, C172 FL60, auto SID\STAR selection: no problem. I will repeat same flight but VFR, then I will try IFR and VFR between small strips (no SID\STAR info). Will come back if any issue. Thanx

Thank you vittop for your fast feedback. Happy to hear first tests positive, I'm aiming to release as soon the last bug we'll fixed.

Linux users, please report any instability issue on the last version, many thanks.

Tested RC27 from PAKT to PAJN 737-800 IFR FL 260 ....their are still no step indications for initial altitude in this test I was given direct to FL260. SID selection was asked.

Descent control was in step and had multiple step downs. Still need to say descend "to" otherwise it sounds like ATC is asking you to descend -7000 feet instead of descent to 7000 feet.

STAR/ Approach was not asked, however correct runway was given and handed off to Tower successfully given clearance to land and handed off to ground successfully as well. This was a direct from Center to Tower handoff, no approach control.

I will test further and add logs if I see more of same behaviors. I don't have the log to attach for this flight but wanted to comment on how it went.

Thanks
