Failed to install ATC 124th plugin

Post by Oak77 » Sat Feb 15, 2020 11:46 am

Hello,

I've searched web and found this issue in other forums, but those issues seem to be long time resolved. No topis like that on this forum. I read the Installation chapter of the 124th ATC manual (but it's quite

I copied the 124th ATC folder into this destination:

Code: Select all

/home/<user>/XPlane/X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/124thATC64/
on my OpenSUSE Leap 15.1 Linux. There are files like acc.dat and folders like lin_x64, navdata, _Misc, etc inside. The X-plane is 11.41r1 (build 114100 64-bit).

It does not appear in the list of plugins.

Could someone please advice, how to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks in advance!

OK, it's RESOLVED.

I looked into the XP11 log.txt file and found no trace of 124th ATC, however found an error stating that libcurl-gnutls.so.4 is missing. Furthermore, it's not available in OpenSUSE.

So I created a symlink to that library in OpenSUSE:

Code: Select all

sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4 /usr/lib64/libcurl-gnutls.so.4
... and 124th ATC is read according to the log.txt file correctly and I can see it in the simulation in XP11.

Hope this will help other users too.

Oak
