Re: ATC headings

Hmmm, so ATC followed the SID path (pagla), I selected out of NZAA.

Then after I selected the STAR into NZWN (tpapa), I got “expect tpapa”, from atc. Then the next message was “turn around and go back to pagla”!

Something is not right with this?

Re: ATC headings

Yes! Selecting both automatic look up sids and stars, and manual select sids and stars check boxes done the trick. As soon as I checked both boxes I got the SIDs and STARS to choose from. Its a little bit weird because you would think that you select one or the other not both? Anyway I don't care, i...

Re: ATC headings

Thanks again Steve, very helpful.

I do get the option to change runways but I have never seen an option to change a sid or star.
Maybe having both manual & look up checked will do the trick. I will have a play around and report back.

Re: ATC headings

Thanks again Steve, All my .dat files were in the 124thATC64/navdata directory. Initially I had the CIFP folder inside the navdata folder. Then when I added the 6 earth.dat files, I put those in the navdata folder, not inside the CIFP folder. Then when I thought there was a directory issue, I put al...

Re: ATC headings

I have the CIFP folder pasted in the navdata folder along with the 6 earth.dat files. Am I supposed to unpack the CIFP folder into the navdata folder, so its only the .dat files? Because 124th atc is not finding my sids and stars. It always gives me the wrong sids and stars, ones that are not in my ...

Re: ATC headings

Thanks for that @scooke
So I have now pasted the 6 earth.dat files into my 124th navdata folder.
I checked out the link, but I'm more confused now.
The 124th instructions just say to copy the CIFP folder into the 124th navdata folder. But it seems that that is not the case now?

Re: ATC headings

Strange. It definitely helped putting the CIFP folder in the navdata folder of 124th. However. I now get a message saying Navdata not found. This plugin requires an ARINC 424 CIFP data folder, STAR/STAR function will not work. (It should say SID/STAR, but says STAR/STAR, but thats probably not impor...

Changing the radius from 0.1nm to 0.2 seems to have worked. Thanks for that

ATC headings

Is there a way to have ATC running but not give me headings. I want to fly my GPS flight plan, which I have loading into 124th ATC flight plan. But it always gives me headings that take me away from my GPS track. Also, when I choose Manually select SIDs and Stars it doesn't give me the option to man...

Re: Take-off clearance?

Cool thanks. I tried Wellington airport and it worked fine. So it must just be Auckland airport where I'm having trouble. If the holding point works with the stock X Plane 11 ATC then surly it should work with 124th ATC? P.S Is there a way to have the radius visible on screen so we can check it is a...

Re: Take-off clearance?

I am having this exact issue. I have tried contacting the guys at 124th ATC but its frustrating because they don't reply. It seems there is no support for this plug in. I file the flight plan, get clearance to start engines and taxi, then it says contact tower when on holding point. So I get to the ...
