Re: New users welcome
Hello 124thATC users and developers!
I am not really a new user, I have been using 124thATC ever since I got XP10 over 2 years back and have used it on just about every flight ever since so many hundreds of hours - possibly thousands...
I fly jets in XP11 mostly, the Zibo 737-800 and ToLiss A319 being my current favorite aircraft. I use multi voice support in 124thATC on Windows 10 and have developed some spoken commands and check lists (using Voice Attack) so my virtual F/O carries out my commands such as gear up, flaps etc., reads out the check list and reads back ATC instructions. That leaves me to fly the plane and look out of the window!
I think 124thATC is the best plug-in I have and could not fly without it. I have downloaded the public beta and will begin tests on my next flight.
Thanks for providing this plug-in!
Chris

Hi to everybody. I’ve been a virtual pilot since MSFS appeared, and stuck for long time with Win7 + FSXSP2. I decided to switch to Linux and XP11 as the demo was made available. Of course before actually leaving FSX and buying the full XP11, I would like to have for this latter an ATC better than default one, which imho is even worse than FSX's one. Hope to help with 124thATC testing, I will post my first remarks soon.
[Using XP11.52r1|Linux Mint 20.1|Kernel 5.4.0-65|amdgpu opensource driver|Mesa 20.2.6]

Feel free to test the last RC build if you want, but remember they are quite unstable during the test phase.
And welcome on board

Hello everyone.
Giovanni from italy!
I'm professional programmer and Flight Simulation (rookie) enthusiast.
Just downloaded 124thATC and made a take off to get used with the plugin. As soon as finished reading documentation I'll probably ask a couple questions.
I'm pretty new about xplane 11 to so...

Re: New users welcome
Awesome to see work continuing on this great plugin, nothing else stands even close to this that's available cross-platform (Linux user here)! Grabbing the latest RC now.

Hi Everyone
Nic here from the UK
I have been a flight simmer for many years on and off in MS flight sims and recently crossed over to X-plane 11. I was immediately disappointed by the native ATC after it directed me into high terrain and by how simple and restrictive it is. I was really surprised that a sim as advanced as XP11 could have a barely functional ATC system. As a result I began to hunt for and try out various other ATC plugins.
I was SO glad when I found 124thATC, and I have used it on around a 100 flights so far and all I can say is, "Thank you Antonello, for the 1000's of hours you have spent developing 124thATC and making as good as it is and continuing to developed it, and want to make it even better!!"
I am glad to find that development is still ongoing and I look forward to testing the RC versions, and hopefully being able to give some constructive feedback here of the forums.
Many thanks!

really appreciating people finding time for introducing themselves, and thanks so much for your words. As you said, the plugin programming, and especially testing requires tons of hours. Being this plugin free I basically feed my passion and dedication with users feedback like your.

Re: New users welcome
Hey guys,
I just wanted to follow Nic's example and say "hi" as well as also offering a BIG THANK YOU for developing this plugin. I've been an X-Plane user (on Linux) for quite a while now and I'm really happy to see that you're also supporting my favourite operating system.
I cannot begin to imagine how much dedication and time must have gone into the development and testing of this wonderful plugin, so again, many thanks for your passion and generosity. As soon as I'll get Mr. Hawking actually "talking" to me in the cockpit[1], a contribution / donation will surely be inbound... your next <insert favourite beverage of choice> is on me, Antonello!
Sorry for forgetting my manners there for a while and not introducing myself properly before crying for help in the support forum
All the best & keep up the good work,
Uwe
1: Currently I don't have TTS output but I guess that's an issue with the XLinSpeak plugin.

Hi hoover, thanks for your words, really appreciated. I'll try to test TTS on linux in order to provide you a better support. Unfortunately my main installation is on windows and I don't test TTS since months, but I'll give a try.hoover wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2019 7:26 am Hey guys,
