Hi ntll,
I am preparing a new XP11 installation, using XP11.51 demo, latest 124thATCv2-a62 and a 5.x kernel (Linux Mint 20.1) which has an updated mesa video driver for amdgpu, thus enabling Vulkan XP11 option. What happens is that, as flight starts, either the 124th ATC "frequency selection" box and the bottom ATC dialog box (the one where atc and pilot communications are shown) blink (i.e appear and disappear with an approx. 1" cycle). At present, a workaround that works is to enter XP11 graphics settings and toggle vsync checkbox (no matter if is enabled or disabled, just toggle).
Any idea?
Thanx

Re: Blinking windows with Linux and Vulkan
It's a driver level problem and has nothing to do with the plugin.

U R right, I checked my xorg configuration and finally setRandomUser wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 6:47 pm It's a driver level problem and has nothing to do with the plugin.
Option "ShadowPrimary" "true"
into /etc/X11/xorg.conf and this solved the issue. By the way, now fps is slightly lower (about 3-4 fps les) but surely the visualization is much smoother.
Thanks
